Family Mini Session
A relaxed twenty to thirty minutes for the whole family — long enough for classic group portraits and a few natural frames in between, short enough that nobody loses patience. The same session covers maternity, a newborn with their parents, a birthday, a graduation or a pre-debut. Photographed in the Auckland studio or outdoors, whichever suits you.

What it includes
Professionally edited images in colour, delivered as a private online gallery you can download and share. Studio sessions run on the hour, so there is room to arrive, settle and start unhurried. Outdoors, the place and the hour are agreed on a short briefing call first.
What the mini session covers
- Family — up to 6 people
- Parents, children including newborn, and grandparents if they are visiting — up to six people in front of the camera. Group frames first while everyone is fresh, then the quieter pairings.
- Maternity
- The last weeks before your baby arrives. Most families book between 28 and 36 weeks, when the bump is well defined and you are still comfortable on your feet. Just Mum, Mum and Dad, or older siblings meeting the bump.
- Newborn with parents
- Your baby with you, in the first few weeks. Feed just before you leave home if you can, and bring a change of clothes and anything that settles them.
- Birthday, graduation & pre-debut
- A birthday that matters, a gown and cap, or the portraits taken ahead of a debut night — unhurried and without an audience. Bring family too if you would like a few group frames alongside the portraits.

Good to know
- Studio or outdoors
- This is the only session offered both ways. In the studio it is a fixed price; outdoors the place and the hour are agreed on a short briefing call and quoted then.
- When
- Studio sessions run Saturdays 1:00–6:00pm and Sundays 10:00am–2:00pm, on the hour, New Zealand time.
- What to wear
- Soft neutral tones photograph best — cream, oatmeal, sand, warm grey. Avoid strong patterns and logos so faces stay the subject. For a maternity session, fitted shapes read best against a bump.
- Bringing a newborn
- Feed just before you leave home if you can, and bring a change of clothes and anything that settles them.
- Changing your booking
- With more than 48 hours notice you can move your session at no cost, using the link in your confirmation email. Pregnancy dates move and that is expected.
